A new studio building located within an industrial estate, Worksop. The project aims to create a building and spaces of high quality design and architectural merit to meet the needs of an expanding business and the architecture purposefully acknowledges the industrial vernacular of the surrounding industrial context of the area.

The building is organised around a courtyard providing a space to work outside as well as a much needed place to pause within a busy industrial estate. Two separate volumes connect to the yard and their form is designed to suit their specific brief requirements; a multipurpose studio space and office meeting space.

Externally the buildings facade is utilitarian and robust responding to the surrounding industrial context through the use of layered large format galvanised sheet metal.
