A new stepped brick and timber rear extension to an Edwardian Villa in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The project creates a new family kitchen and dining space with an immediate connection out to the new terrace and garden via the large windows and sliding glazed doors.

The stepped volumes reference the contrasting volumes within the original house and create a tall, light filled dining area with an eye level view out towards the existing raised garden.
