Endcliffe Villa
Victorian Home Renovation & Interior Design, Sheffield
Set within the Endcliffe conservation area in Sheffield, the project transforms a sandstone fronted Victorian villa through the careful renovation and refurbishment of the existing building into a light, calm and tranquil family home. At the heart of the project is the creation of a new kitchen and dining space with a four metre high sloped ceiling and roof light and large glazed sliding doors out onto a new rear stepped terrace.
Formerly a single villa, the building was awkwardly split into three separate homes and we remodelled the building to restore the former proportions of the original home and increasing connections between the living areas to accommodate the needs of a growing young family to create a characterful, calm, understated home.
The kitchen was designed and created in collaboration with our custom contemporary kitchen studio, Ma-kon, allowing us to bring holistic design vision and built quality at every level to the project. A material palette of warm white painted cabinetry and honed carrara marble worktops creates an understated kitchen which is in keeping with the overall project.
