National Justice Museum
From Works was approached to work in collaboration with the National Justice Museum in Nottingham, to create a new public room providing a space to share, collaborate and discuss ideas about the museum, city and beyond.
The room is designed as a ‘living room’; to make you feel welcome. From Works created a series of fitted and free standing furniture items which reference the richness and solidity of the existing material palette from within the museum. The furniture items are purposeful, simple and robust allowing for both moments of discussion and calm within.
The furniture and joinery is hand made in Sheffield from a natural material palette of solid cherry, brass & felt.
