Conservation Area New Build Family Home, Sheffield

The project creates a modest, contemporary single storey family home and separate home office within the Norfolk Road Conservation area, near Park Hill in Sheffield. The new building aims to provide a lifetime family home which embraces sustainability, exemplar design and sits comfortably in its surroundings.

Nestled behind a limestone retaining wall within a green and verdant corner site, the building seeks embed itself fully within the unique landscape. The buildings form is stepped to capture different views of the landscaped garden and in tern creates a variety of internal spaces. The building is centred around an internal courtyard bringing natural day light, ventilation and vegetation within the new family home.

The project has been submitted for planning and we're awaiting a decision from Sheffield City Council in Summer 2024.
